Doe 1 v Roe Corporation
Farano & Kieviet represented the plaintiff in a personal injury case against a sand and gravel supply company in Northern California where the liability and damages were contested. Case was filed in 1992 and finally settled on the day that jury selection was to begin for $2.8 million.

Doe 1-14 v Doe Corporation
Farano & Kieviet represented one of two major defendants in a case filed in Southern California where the driver of a vehicle lost his brakes in a parking area of a business wherein hundreds of bystanders were located. Prior to stopping the vehicle, the vehicle struck 14 people, one of which was knocked 20 feet into the air. The matter was successfully resolved for an undisclosed sum, well below Farano & Kieviet client's insurance policy limits.

Doe 1 v Roe Corporation
Farano & Kieviet represented the owner of an elderly care facility in a wrongful termination case. The attorney for the plaintiff had previously settled a matter involving another employee against the same company prior to the time that Farano & Kieviet LLP represented the client. The case was tried before a jury in Los Angeles Superior Court. The jury rendered a verdict in favor of the plaintiff but in an amount of less than $10,000.00 when the plaintiff refused to settle for any amount less than $300,000.00.

Farano & Kieviet represented a defendant corporation in a trade secrets case filed in the Orange County Superior Court. The plaintiff requested damages in excess of $300,000.00.The case was tried before a jury in a trial, which lasted three weeks. The court awarded a verdict in favor of the defendants.

Farano & Kieviet represented a plaintiff in a trade secrets case filed in the Los Angeles County Superior Court. The case was tried before a jury. The court awarded a verdict in favor of the Plaintiff, awarding damages and injunctive relief.

Doe v Roe
Farano & Kieviet represented an individual defendant against two other individuals in a dispute regarding the Hispanic entertainment industry where the plaintiff's claimed entitlement to hundreds of thousands of dollars in promotional expenses. The case was tried before a judge in a trial that took place over a 4-week period. The court awarded a verdict in favor of the defendant.

Doe Corporation v City of Roe
Farano & Kieviet represented the developer of an adult entertainment business in the Los Angeles County area. The case involved the developer's First Amendment rights as well as the city's municipal codes. The case was filed in Federal Court in Los Angeles and resulted in a decision in favor of the developer and against the city.
